Drill Floor Manipulator Arm (DFMA)

Large capacity manipulator arm for moving tubulars around drill floor and V-Door area. The DFMA is either mounted directly to the drill floor on a pedestal or underslung from the lowest bracing of the top drive guide rail system.

2 Arm System

The 2-Arm System comprises of an Top and a Centre racking arm. The Top arm is mounted at fingerboard level with the Centre arm mounted approximately mid way between drill floor level and fingerboard level. Each arm is mounted on a cantilever support structure connected to the derrick structure.

Bridge Racker (BR 4000)

The Bridge Racker is mounted above the fingerboard level and is used as an alternative to the two arm system. The bridge racker provides X and Y travel of the grip head to cover the fingerboard and well centre area.

The Lower Racking Arm is used in conjunction with the bridge racker. The LRA travels on a set of rails mounted to the drill floor.

Fingerboards

The fingerboards, or racking boards, are positioned within the derrick at approximately 85 feet above drill floor. The fingerboards store the tubulars required for the drilling operation.

The storage capacity of the fingerboards depends on the clients requirements and drilling program.
