(Hong Kong, 13 December 2009) TSC Offshore Group Limited (“TSC Offshore” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries as the “Group”, stock code: 0206), an international offshore rig product and total solutions provider, recently entered into a contract worth US$2.53 million with Operadora CICSA S.A. de C.V., a Mexico-based rig builder, for the supply of a BOP handling package, which is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2010.

The jack up rig furnished under this order is expected to be put to work in the Gulf of Mexico to help offset the region’s declining oil reserves.

(“GME”) since we fully acquired of it in 2008. Combined our strong fundamentals and innovative technology with GME’s quality mechanical handling products, we have a comprehensive rig product range that enables us to meet the stringent demand for quality, timely delivery and efficiency from international offshore oil service companies as well as infrastructure and construction companies specialised in the offshore oil and gas industry,” said Mr Jiang Binghua, the Executive Chairman of TSC Offshore.
“With an improved market, we see satisfactory performance in our rig product business. It is expected that the demand for offshore rigs as well as expendables and supplies will remain strong. In particular, the deepwater drilling business will be set to explode since more and more oil resources are yet to explore. We will continue to actively pursue new orders, especially offshore rig product projects and turnkey solutions projects,” added Mr Jiang.
