(Hong Kong, 20 December 2009) TSC Offshore Group Limited (“TSC Offshore” or the “Company”, together with its subsidiaries as the “Group”, stock code: 0206), an international offshore rig product and total solutions provider, secured an order from a Canadian customer for several Work Force 1300 mud pump packages with AC electric motors for an aggregate contract value of approximately US$5 million. The packages, which will be used for a land rig application, are expected to be delivered in the second and third quarters of 2010.

“The latest contract evidences TSC Offshore’s growing reputation of being able to deliver high quality mud pumps with high horsepower to weight ratios. Our pump designs are seen as ideal for portable land rigs, in which high dependability and weight are considered as significant factors. At the same time, our mud pump designs incorporate finite element analysis to optimize strength and weight parameters,” said Mr Bob Sliva, President & COO of TSC Offshore.

In addition to this mud pump order, the Group also got a BOP handling package contract for jack up rig from a rig builder in Mexico recently. “We see the market is picking up, and have received increasing number of quotation requests from various customers. We will continue to pursue every business opportunity for capital equipment as well as total solutions, and we are confident that TSC will become the customers’ brand of choice,” added Mr Sliva.
